We have an exciting opportunity for both a Senior Landscape Architect and an Intermediate Landscape Architect to join our growing Nelson team.
Canopy are an award winning creative team of landscape architects and landscape planners. You will be a part of a small but busy office gaining experience in a range of work from boutique high-end residentials to large scale masterplanned communities and commercial areas. Based in Nelson we have work in the Wellington region, Tasman and Marlborough and Christstchurch where we have a satellite office.
We are a vibrant company creating exceptional spaces and require someone who is both skilled and passionate about their work to become an important member of the team and a key player in our future projects.
Core skills and attributes for both job roles include:
· professional working experience and working knowledge in NZ;
· a high level of technical skill for the preparation of detailed design and construction documentation;
· competency in Vectorworks and/or AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office;
· 3D modelling skills are an advantage;
· the necessary Landscape Architectural qualifications;
· good time management skills and a motivated attitude towards project work;
· a friendly manner and able to communicate well with staff, clients and the public.
Senior Landscape Architect
This role is for a talented senior landscape architect with 6+ years experience and a breadth of working knowledge in NZ. You will have project management skills and the ability to oversee a team of landscape architects, consultants and clients. The successful candidate will be passionate about landscape architecture and will bring a proactive attitude to take the lead in the design, documentation and delivery of your work. Remuneration for this role will be negotiated and be relative to your skills and experience.
Intermediate Landscape Architect
This role is for a talented intermediate landscape architect with 2+ years professional experience and working knowledge in NZ. You will have excellent design and documentation skills and will bring a proactive attitude towards the preparation of 3D modelling and draughting. Remuneration for this role will be negotiated and be relative to your skills and experience.
