Shea Gillison, Landscape Architect

Shea Gillison is a landscape architect practicing since 2013. Graduating with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University, Shea also spent time throughout his studies working in the horticultural industry gaining invaluable experience in planting design and application. With strong interests in urban & environmental design, Shea’s Major Design Project at Lincoln focused on the revitalization of Oamaru’s historic port and waterfront. The project focused on reactivating the town’s waterfront through the careful integration of urban spaces with a strong environmental focus addressing coastal erosion, sea level rise & storm water treatment. Since joining Canopy, Shea has been involved in a diverse range of projects that include masterplanning, residential design, construction documentation & detailed design. Shea enjoys the complexities of large scale masterplanning and working with clients on detailed smaller scale residential projects with particular strengths in producing high quality supporting graphics.
